Open NanoCarbon Wiki

Welcome to the project Open NanoCarbon wiki. This is a working wiki of project documents and digital resources for open science hardware that will rapidly solidify carbon from atmospheric CO2 achieving a rate of hundreds of gigatonnes over a couple decades. This project will determine the fastest non-patented way to process CO2 gas to solid carbon to fully solidify large mounts of carbon using the least amount of energy.

Project Open NanoCarbon is actively seeking scientists with expertise in physics: plasma and magnetics, chemical physics as well as chemists, nanomaterials scientists and later on engineers, to lead topics and experiments. Meet us on chat and join the effort.

Current Active Phases

Next, we'll plan Plasma topics.

CO2 separation from ambient atmospheric gas will be investigated from an engineering standpoint later in the project life cycle.

The current idea is study dissociation mechanics at the particle level to understand and uncover all routes that can be tailored to high volume dissociation at the macro level. Once such routes are enumerated, the best high volume system shall be designed and refined.
