Catalysis Project Home

Description

Investigate and determine the most efficient catalyst or set of catalysts and related processes to dissociate carbon from CO2.

A possible starting point are use of paramagnetic nano materials in a specially designed chamber. Ways to redesign a Bosch styled reaction to accommodate high volume yield and catalyst reuse are goals for this project. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosch_reaction Given the isoelectronic similarity of CO to N2, looking at the Haber-Bosch process is also possible a starting point.
